Sterile Processing Pre-Cleaning Sinks

TBJ Sterile Processing Work Sinks are designed specifically for sterile processing departments for use in the manual cleaning and removal of gross bioburden from surgical instruments. All of our sinks are made to order around your specifications. The overall length and width are tailored to fit the space you have available. Sink bowl sizes are customized and widths of 30” or more are available to accommodate longer instruments such laparoscopic and robotic instruments. A variety of unique optional features such as our Hydro-Force automatic cleaning system, powered lumen flushing, integrated ultrasonic system and push-button height adjustment enable you to design your own sink around your own specific needs.

Endoscope Pre-Cleaning Sinks

TBJ Endoscopy Sinks are designed to assist endoscopy departments in meeting industry guidelines for the pre-cleaning of flexible, immersible endoscopes. Our double bowl and triple bowl units provide space for soaking, flushing and rinsing. For departments with limited space, our single bowl units are a space saving option. All of our sinks can be equipped with a wide variety of options including an integrated Scope Buddy™ Plus Flushing aid, push-button height adjustment, LED lighting, water temperature monitoring and storage bins and baskets to name a few of the available options. All sinks are made to order and customized to your specific needs.

Mobile Soaking Stations

TBJ Mobile Soaking Sinks provide a portable sink basin for soaking instruments during peak reprocessing hours thus reducing overflow at the main processing sink. Enzymatic pre-soaking makes later processing easier by helping to prevent blood and other matter from drying on instruments. Pre-soaking prolongs instrument life and helps reduce the risk of cross-contamination.

These sinks are perfect for use with longer profile orthopedic and robotic instruments. The long 32” x 16” x 8” deep sink basin easily accommodates most any type of instrumentation. The sinks can be supplied with an open frame an enclosed base cabinet with storage area or a raised backsplash for mounting accessories. The sink sizes can be customized.

Hand Wash Sinks

TBJ stainless steel wall mounted hand wash sinks are designed for healthcare and laboratory environments where hand washing is an absolute must. Keep your lab space up to code without sacrificing space with TBJ hand wash sinks that our easy to clean, compact to fit into tight spaces and securely attach to a wall to open up floor space. We offer a variety of standard and custom sizes with optional features such as sensor controlled faucets and built in eye wash stations.

Drop-in Sink Inserts

TBJ Drop-in Sink Inserts are designed to fit into an existing sink basin to raise the work level thus reducing back bending and potential injury. An optional replaceable thermometer strip and a removable water volume indicator can also be supplied with the insert.

The insert also includes a drain basket to help prevent small pieces from being lost down the drain. A customized retainer is included to support the insert so it will fit any sink bowl that is 23” x 16” or wider.

The lightweight, polyurethane construction of this sink insert makes it easy to place and remove from counters, deep sinks and mobile carts.

The insert can also be used in mobile carts for storage, transport and soaking.

Scrub Sinks

TBJ offers a complete line of made to order stainless steel scrub sinks specifically made for laboratory and hospital use. Included are several styles of scrub sinks. Work sink lengths and widths be be customized and they are available with single, double, and triple bowl configurations. A full line of optional features such as foot pedal controlled faucets, electronic faucets, spray guns, integral ultrasonic cleaners, and lever handle drains are available.

Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems

TBJ offers a full line on ultrasonic cleaning systems that are designed to help you efficiently clean surgical instruments. Deep cleaning sonic action removes the most imbedded soils, including many that soaking and scrubbing simply cannot reach.

Prep and Pack Tables

TBJ’s Prep and Pack Work Tables are designed to meet the most demanding instrument reprocessing needs. A wide variety of designs and configurations are available. From simple stainless steel work tables to height adjustable tables with storage drawers, keyboard and computer monitor holders, and fluorescent magnifiers . . . all designed specifically around your needs for improved productivity, organization and instrument management.

Pass Through Windows

TBJ offers a wide variety of Pass-Through Windows to facilitate movement of decontaminated items between the decontamination area and terminal processing areas in the sterile processing department. Our pass through windows are available in manual double hung widow designs, manual bi-parting window designs, semi-automatic bi-parting window designs and hands free, fully automatic sensor controlled designs. Optional stainless steel set-down counters are available for most designs.

Shelving & Instrument Storage

TBJ manufactures both fixed height and adjustable height stainless steel shelves for general storage of sterile supplies, instrument trays and containers. Standard sizes are available in 12″ and 16″ widths and lengths ranging from 24″ to 120″ in 4″ increments. Load weights vary depending on the number of wall brackets and adjustable rails used.

Case Carts

Case carts are available in a variety of sizes and features include safety edges on all doors and panels, sloped bottom shelf for drainage and doors with integral drain systems. Removable interior shelf brackets accommodate up to six shelves on full height models and for shelves on half-height models.

Pharmacy Hazardous Drug Storage Cabinets

TBJ offers a wide variety of Vented Hazardous Drug Storage Cabinets for storage of HD’s to assist in compliance with USP chapter 800 guidelines. Our cabinets can be vented to a building exhaust connection or they can be self-contained with an integral exhaust blower/filter system. Either method can provide the recommended 12 air changes per hour. Our cabinets are constructed of type 304 stainless steel and are available in a variety of sizes and design including floor standing units, counter top units, under-counter units and wall mounted units. All designs include adjustable perforated shelves. Doors can be hinged or sliding, glass or stainless steel and with or without locks.

Automatic Sink Filling System

The TBJ ASF Automatic Sink Filling System is a major time saver in the sequence of manually pre-cleaning surgical instruments. With the press
of the “Sink Fill” button, the ASF system automatically fills any size sink bowl with a pre-determined volume of water. The system includes a 10” high by 9” wide x 6” deep stainless steel waterproof enclosure for wall mounting. The enclosure houses the electronic components which includes switches, relays and an adjustable timer for setting the fill volume. Also included is a chrome plated faucet for deck mounting, a solenoid valve and a tempering valve. A 6-foot power cord is provided for plugging into a 115V wall outlet. The ASF Automatic Sink Filling System is a time saving product that can be incorporated into almost any instrument processing sink.
